Here at Yours Truly we sell new, preloved and sample wedding dresses on behalf. Dresses are listed for sale on consignment through our in-store and online platform. Once the dress sells, we will pay the seller the agreed price.

Yours Truly will set a listing price that is fair, competitive, and accurately reflects the condition and age of your dress. Many factors are taken into consideration when setting the listing price including but not limited to:
-The current retail price of your dress
-The designer/ dress style and whether it’s part of a current collection
-Any alterations made to your dress
-Any stains, wear or tear damage that may have occurred to your dress
In addition to the consignment fee, there is a one-off administration fee of $150. However, if your dress sells, we will refund your administration fee.
Yes! All dresses must be freshly dry cleaned prior to listing with Yours Truly. This will help preserve the beauty of your dress and will ensure you get the most value back for your dress sale.
Not at all! Yours Truly simplifies the sales process for you by taking care of any questions potential buyers may have about your dress.
We do require photos of your dress before we can confirm whether we can list it for you. An image of the entire silhouette from both the front and back, along with close-up images of any flaws that may have occurred to your dress are helpful.
To aid in the selling of your dress, it is super useful to provide high quality images that we can use on our website and social media platforms. Please kindly note, you must be the copywrite owner of any images supplied or have permission to use the images. If your preference is for us to not use your photos, campaign images may be used, or we can take mannequin photos of your dress to list online.
You can either arrange for your dress to be delivered to our showroom located at 37 Mackelvie Street, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021. Please kindly note, shipping costs will need to be covered by the seller.
Alternatively, you can lock in a time with our team to drop your dress of in-store.
Some dresses sell within days, others take a few months. However, due to the nature of selling on consignment we can’t guarantee your dress will sell within the consignment period.
If your dress does not sell within the consignment period, you can request to relist your dress. If your dress is relisted, the listing price may be reviewed if required. Alternatively, if your listing is withdrawn, you will be required to collect your dress from the Yours Truly showroom or cover shipping costs for your dress to be returned. Please note that if you do not collect your dress once the listing has been withdrawn, monthly storage fees will apply.
We will notify you by email right away and will arrange for the funds to be transferred to you. It’s that simple!

Our weekday consultation fee is $40 and our weekend consultation fee is $50.

Nude underwear is also preferable, we kindly ask that you avoid any fake tan and wear light makeup.
Absolutely! Our sofas comfortably seat up to 6 guests, however, we encourage bringing along friends and family whose opinion you trust and value.
You are also more than welcome to video call in any guests during your appointment.

We currently have a wide range of sizing available including NZ 6 – NZ 20 and are sourcing new sizes daily.
Each specific designer uses their own size chart when creating dresses, therefore sizes are based on the label placed by each designer. Going a size up in mainstream clothing is a good guide for which size to look for as most designers run smaller or due to previous alterations made to a dress by the owner.
Our sample dresses have not been altered and remain true to label size. However, due to the nature of preloved dresses, in most cases they were custom made or made to a standard size and then altered. Alterations can be as simple as having added a bustle, or a standard hem alteration. However, alterations for each unique preloved dress vary. The listing price of each gown does not include alterations as this is an additional service.
However, we have an expert team of in-house tailors who can take care of any alteration you may require. Of course, you are more than welcome to take your dress to your own preferred tailor.
You can either purchase your dress in-store at our Auckland showroom or online.
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, direct deposits or cash. We can also take credit card payments over the phone if required.
We kindly ask that you choose your items carefully as all sales are final. We are unable to return or exchange items due to incorrect fit or change of mind. If you would like the specific measurements of a dress prior to purchasing, please email us at email@example.com
Since we have limited availability, if you do need to reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you wish to cancel your appointment, please let us know 7 days before your appointment, or your consultation fee will not be refunded.
Due to the delicate nature of a wedding dresses, we don’t offer rental services. A wedding dress can only be worn a few times before it visibly looks as though it has been worn multiple times. Furthermore, due to the unique alterations required for each bride, we don’t offer rental service as we want to ensure all our brides dresses are fit to them.
Due to space restrictions, we don’t hold dresses on site once they have sold. However, should you require to keep your dress on site, a storage fee of $40 per month will apply.
For all orders placed within New Zealand, shipping is currently FREE on all orders over $500!
For orders placed less than $500, standard shipping is $7, rural is $10 or express shipping is $15.
