Trish Peng

Trish Peng is a luxury bridal designer born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. Since launching her namesake label "Trish Peng" in 2014, she has dressed brides from around the world, creating both bespoke and ready-to-wear gowns renowned for their timeless elegance and craftsmanship.

From the age of seven, Trish knew she wanted to become a fashion designer. She taught herself to sew from a young age before refining her skills at Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design.

As the Trish Peng brand continued to grow, so did her vision. Trish wanted to make the signature Trish Peng experience accessible to even more brides while maintaining the same exceptional service and attention to detail. This vision led to the creation of Yours Truly, a destination where every bride can experience expert styling, beautiful gowns, and a personalised bridal journey.

Yours Truly was also born from a desire to create a more sustainable bridal experience. Trish saw that once sample gowns had reached the end of their time in the showroom, many still had so much life left to give. Rather than seeing these beautiful gowns go to waste, she created a place where they could find a bride to love them.

At the same time, Yours Truly was designed to cater to brides with shorter engagement timelines, offering immediate access to beautiful gowns without compromising on the boutique bridal experience. The boutique is also home to the Yours Truly Collection. Trish's diffusion line, designed exclusively for modern brides seeking exceptional design, quality, and value.

Tips From Trish

  • Keep an open mind – It's natural to have a style in mind, but don't be afraid to try something different. Many brides fall in love with a gown they never expected to choose.

  • Trust your stylist – Your stylist is there to help! They know the collection inside out and may suggest styles you wouldn't normally pick that end up being "the one."

  • Choose your guests wisely – Bring the people whose opinions you value most. Too many voices can sometimes become overwhelming.

  • Bring inspiration - Save a few of your favourite dresses or wedding inspiration photos. This gives your stylist a great starting point to understand your vision.

  • Check your sizing- Bridal sizing is completely different from everyday clothing, so don't let the number on the label worry you. Your size is just a number, and no one will know what size you’re wearing.

  • I recommend checking your measurements against our size guide before your appointment. This helps you get the most out of your time with us, ensuring you’re trying on gowns in the best size range from the beginning.

  • Take photos - Take a few of your favourite gowns. Looking back later can help you compare styles with a fresh perspective.

  • Have fun! – This is one of the most exciting parts of wedding planning. Enjoy trying on beautiful gowns and creating memories with the people you've chosen to share the experience with.
