Lydia V2
Sample Trish Peng Lydia Gown
The Lydia V2 Gown by Trish Peng is a unique, one-off sample crafted from beautiful satin. Featuring a soft scoop neckline with a hidden corset underneath, draping across the neckline and off-the-shoulder arm details add a romantic finish. Flattering ruching across the hips and waist flows into a classic fit-and-flare silhouette.
Please note: Unless otherwise stated, gowns listed on Yours Truly are sample dresses — ex-showroom, trunk show, or photoshoot pieces — as well as new gowns from excess production stock. These are discontinued or limited-release styles, offered at exclusive prices. Each gown’s price reflects its condition, which may vary slightly between pieces. All sales are final.
If you’d like specific measurements, additional images, or have any questions about a gown, please email us at hello@yourstrulybridal.co.nz before placing your order.

Yes! Most of our gowns can be altered down 1–2 sizes to help achieve the perfect fit. The amount a gown can be altered will depend on the style and construction of the dress.
Have a specific alteration in mind? Get in touch with us at hello@yourstrulybridal.co.nz and we’d be happy to chat through what’s possible for your gown.
Bridal sizing is very different from everyday clothing, and every designer uses their own individual size chart, so your usual dress size may not be the same size you wear in a bridal gown.
We recommend checking your measurements against our size chart to see where you fall and help determine which size may be the best fit for you.
Yes! Most gowns can be altered 1–2 sizes smaller, depending on the style and construction of the gown.
If you need a gown altered larger, this is sometimes possible, but it depends on how much seam allowance the gown has. Some gowns may have an additional 1–2cm available to let out, while others may not have enough fabric to make the gown larger.
If you're unsure about the fit of a particular gown, feel free to get in touch with us before purchasing and we can help you assess whether the gown may be suitable for alterations.
Our sample gowns are ex-showroom, trunk show or photoshoot pieces that have been used to showcase our gowns and allow brides to try them on.
They are available to purchase off the rack, meaning you can take your gown home on the day if you would like, without the wait of a made-to-order dress.
As they have been used for showroom fittings, trunk shows or photoshoots, some gowns may show minor signs of wear. Please get in contact with us if you would like to see a specific gowns condition, hello@yourstrulybridal.co.nz
No, our gowns are sold in the condition they come in. We do give each gown a spot clean where needed, however, we cannot guarantee that this will remove all marks or imperfections.
If you would like your gown professionally dry cleaned, we recommend having this done before your alterations begin.
If you would like to know more about the condition of a particular gown, please get in touch with us and we’re happy to provide more information.
Most gowns come with a wrist loop already attached. However, our gowns do not come with a bustle.
A bustle is added during the alterations process and is created specifically for you based on your height, the length of your gown and how you would like the train to sit.
There are also different types of bustles available, so you can discuss the best option for your gown with our alterations team.
